Horizon2045 is the five year update to the Horizon2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). Every Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is required to have a LRTP that is reviewed and updated over time. GPATS reviews the LRTP every five years and updates it every ten. Browse this page to learn more about Horizon2045 and Horizon2040, and click here to learn more about previous Long-Range Transportation Plans.
We held seven sub-regional public meetings to hear everyone’s wants and needs around the region. Additionally, to reach a broader audience, we hosted an online MetroQuest survey. The Horizon2045 Plan Update was adopted in November 2022. We are pleased to announce that the FINAL Horizon2045 Long-Range Transportation Plan Update is now available for your viewing to the left!
