Description

• SCDOT Pin number 037728C
• Series of intersection improvements along the SC-183 (Farrs Bridge Road) corridor
• All intersection improvements are complete except one
• Current Intersection Improvements: Conversion of SC-183 (Farrs Bridge Road) and S-95 (Jameson Road) intersection into a roundabout

Purpose

• To improve safety along the corridor
• To reduce traffic and improve traffic flow

Need

• Large traffic volume with projected growth by 2040
• SC-183 sees a large number of accidents and fatalities in this area

Status

• Small purchase contract delivered the final report. It is recommended to move forward with a signalized intersection. This project will continue to be developed in house to construction.
