Description

• Pickens County - Convert intersection of SC 183 Farrs Bridge Rd and S-95 Jameson Road to a signalized intersection.
• SCDOT Pin number 037728C

Purpose

• To improve safety along the corridor
• To reduce traffic and improve traffic flow

Need

• Large traffic volume with projected growth by 2040
• SC-183 sees a large number of accidents and fatalities in this area

Status

• October 2026 Update: ROW acquisition is complete. Design and signal plans have been finalized. Temporary all way stop has been implemented at the intersection. Project letting is November 2026.
