S-107 Butler Road Improvements

Project Information

Description

  • Reconstruction for approximately 1.7 miles from Bridges Road to US-276 Main Street
  • Three lane road with curb, gutter, bike lanes, and sidewalks

Purpose

  • To improve safety along the corridor
  • To reduce traffic and improve traffic flow

Need

  • Growth in the area has generated new traffic over time and at times created unsafe conditions for users, especially for let turns

Status

  • Evaluating comments from the Public Information Meeting that took place online from January 5, 2021 through February 5, 2021. In person appointments were held on January 14, 2021 at the Mauldin Cultural Center from 11 am to 7 pm.
